We are NUHW

We are the union. The co-workers who work with you every day caring for our patients. We know our hospitals. We know that we need a real voice in our workplace to take care of our patients and our families.

"What do I get by joining NUHW?"

We get the respect that comes from having a direct voice in decisions about wages, job security, and patient care. Management can’t make those decisions without us. We can better protect our jobs, negotiate for pay and benefits, and stand up for our patients.

When healthcare workers join a real union like NUHW, we gain a direct voice in decisions about wages, job security, and patient care at our hospital. Management can’t make those decisions without us. We can better protect our jobs, negotiate for pay and benefits, and stand up for our patients.

With no union, hospital administration has all the power. Forming a union means we have power too. We work at Memorial, and we know our jobs and our hospital. In our union, we’ll make decisions together, and decide on the wages and working conditions we’ll need. When we’re united, we can sit down and negotiate with hospital administration as equals.
