If SEIU does send you a bill, you will need to pay it or risk not being in “good standing.” If you choose not to pay a bill from SEIU for dues, then you could lose your ability to vote on things like SEIU contracts and who will hold elected positions in SEIU until you pay. SEIU may take further measures to collect dues.
Once NUHW is certified as our union, SEIU will be a union long forgotten with no standing with our Employer, and will not have the power to make us pay back dues.
