More SEIU stewards endorse NUHW

Kaiser San Jose NUHW Organizing Committee welcomes endorsement of SEIU stewards
SEIU stewards representing thousands of Kaiser workers in San Jose, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Walnut Creek, Gilroy, Tracy, Panorama City and Santa Rosa are uniting in support of NUHW.
Savonnda Blaylock, a Pharmacy Tech at Kaiser Tracy resigned as an SEIU steward on August 6. She said, “Our SEIU rep finally admitted that we won’t lose our benefits when we join NUHW. He’d been lying to me, so I was giving my co-workers bad information! I won’t make the mistake of trusting SEIU ever again.”
Terra McClaughlin, PSR Opthamology from Santa Rosa endorsed NUHW on August 2, saying, “Voting NUHW is the only way we can get rid of SEIU’s side deals that weaken our contract and threaten our benefits and job security.”
