Memorial Hospital workers choose NUHW over SEIU, 283 to 13

Nearly 700 caregivers at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital became the newest members of our union Friday night when they voted to form their union with NUHW. Memorial workers overcame an aggressive anti-union campaign by hospital management, and rejected an cynical anti-NUHW campaign by SEIU.

The final vote was 283 for NUHW, 263 for No Union, and just 13 votes for SEIU.

Their overwhelming victory paves the way for our election next month at Kaiser!
